Tamilnadu Engineering Colleges fee structure to be fixed by Government

 for the year 2013-14 – Fees fixed last year may be valid this year also

TAMILNADU Engineering Colleges fee structure 2013 - 

It is widely believed that  Tamilnadu Engineering colleges Fees Structure fixed last year (2012-13) at Rs.40,000 per year for non-accredited Courses, Rs.45,000 per year for accredited Courses and Rs.70,000 per year for Management Seats may be valid this year i.e 2013-14 also as this revision was made last year only. Revision of Tamilnadu Engineering Colleges Fee Structure was made prior to last year revision in the year 2006.

Engineering Education after Higher Secondary is the foremost route for many of students in Tamilnadu. As many as 2.65 lakhs students have applied for Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions 2013. The number of Engineering Colleges in Tamilnadu has also crossed 570 as on December 2012. It is reported by Directorate of Technical Education and Anna University recently that who ever applied and eligible for an Engineering Seat for TNEA 2013 (Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions 2013) will be getting a seat as Total number of Engineering seats available and the number of applicants for TNEA 2013 are almost equal. To be precise, single Window Counselling conducted by Anna University gains significance only in terms of allotting seats of premier engineering colleges to meritorious students. As Demand is not much but supply is more, Tamilnadu Engineering Colleges fee structure will also be a factor for filling up of all the seats in all Engineering Colleges in Tamilnadu this year.
