The rank list is one of the very important during the counselling, because as per the allotted ranks only they will call you for the Engineering counselling. The Rank List will be calculated after the assignment of the Random Number

How they calculate the Rank List??

How they are assigning the Rank List??

• The Rank List will be calculated based on your cutoff marks
• If you do no to calculate the cutoff marks then just 
• Surely the same cutoff marks will match with more than 100's of candidates
• So at this situation what will they do means they will give the 1st preference to the mark of the Mathematics Subjects
• If the maths mark also matches the same for many students
• Then they will give the 2nd preference to the marks of the Physics subject
• If Physics mark also matches the same
• Then the 3rd preference will be to the chemistry subject
• If the chemistry mark also matches same
• Then will consider the 4th optional subject Biology or Computer Science
• If the 4th optional subject also matches the same 
• Then they will give 5th preference to the DATE OF BIRTH(DOB)
• The candidate who are elder will give the preference first while checking Date of Birth
• But in some cases DATE OF BIRTH will also matches at that time they will 6th Preference they will consider the Random Number
• Those who have highest Random Number will give preference first
